Crime's a'foot!

 Crime's a'foot!

It has been a very long time since last I created a canvas.
Graphic 45 sent me this most wonderful prize which included these Master Detective ephemera cards. Now I had a clue for my next creation!

I began by applying two different stencils and modeling paste.  Next using Lindy's Stamp gang mists I created my back ground.  I wanted it to look like the back streets of old London town.

Now this part is dear to my hear.  More than Words challenge this month is all about steampunk and the word father.  I know there are many of us out there whose fathers have gone missing in one fashion or another including mine.  This canvas is dedicate to all missing fathers.

I love the use of gears in this project.

This is a close up of the bejeweled chain attached to the mask.
As you can see in the background I used several products to achieve a very layered look.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have enjoyed my project and I delight in your comments.
Happy Scrapping!

Grin

Grin

My daughter and I love to laugh.

For this layout I chose the delightful and whimsical papers from Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland.  I used the black and white version of Alice and the tea set to represent reality and the colorful pieces to represent our imagination.  Along the path you will find the letters to spell out mom and me.
